code for advanced mode
« on: June 11, 2019, 10:19:18 am »
hi
these 2 features in advanced mode stop working sometimes and they cause loss of all balance.
1- reset after btc profit
2- reset after btc loss

when starting dicebot they work fine, but if any changes made in chance or amount etc they suddenly stop working.

IS IT POSSIBLE THE HAVE A CODE THAT HAS ALL FEATURES AS IN ADVANCED MODE, SO I CAN RUN IT IN PROGRAMMER MODE.
or at least what is available in strategies and stop conditions?

will be thankful if you have such code.

Can you post a screenshot or a video of it not working please?

also, can you elaborate on what you expect to happen and what happens when it's "not working"?

As for code for the built in stuff, see the tutorials linked in: https://forum.seuntjie.com/index.php?topic=2.0

Look specifically at the enablezz and enablesrc variables in the steemit tutorial 1.1 ad the steemit tutorial 1.2.

Or go to https://github.com/seuntjie900/DiceBot for DiceBots source code.

i'm trying to upload screenshot, but it shows error: the upload folder is full, contact administrator.

i set the following in advanced.
- starting bet:  0.00000001
- martingale , on loss, constant,  multiplier 2, multiply after every 1 loss
- multiplier on win 1, all other boxes are NOT checked, including, reset to basebet after first win (is NOT checked).
- stop conditions, only stop after 0.00000001 btc profit box is checked.

i set (reset after btc 0.00000001 profit) and expect it to reset to starting bet, and multipliers and all other rules  after 0.00000001 profit.  but it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't.

So to be clear, it resets after x units profit since the last reset. So if you win 1, it'll reset, if you win 1 again, it'll reset again. If you lose 10 and then win 1, it won't reset because you haven't made 1 profit, you've lost 9 since your last reset. If you win another 10, it'll reset again.

Reset after x units of profit (since the last reset).

Edit: You can also always upload the image to imgur or another image hosting company and just link to it here.

I've found the cause (it happens because of a > instead of a >=, so it only doesn't reset when your profit amount is exactly the same as the setting amount. it will be fixed in the next version.

After spending nearly 2 hours today thinking I reproduced the problem and looking for it, I've come to the conclusion that the bot is working it should.

The only way I was able to get it to not reset properly was if I stopped it on a loss (as in the result of the bet that was in progress when I clicked stop was a loss), and then started it. I would have a martingale progression and a winning bet eventually where it would seem it should reset, but usually my profit since last reset was still 0 or smaller.

the target for profit (variable in the bot called ProfitSinceLastReset) is only reset to 0 when you reach the target and your bet is reset. Clicking start does not reset it. Resetting stats doesn't currently reset it, but I'm adding that to the bot now.

I'm open to debate about whether clicking start should reset it or not. My argument for not resetting it is you're still not in profit after clicking start, so the bot should behave that way. Resetting stats should absolutely reset it though.

thanks for the detailed reply.
probably if you add button "resume"
and make "start" working as fresh start would be practical.

otherwise clicking "start" should always reset. there's only few situations where one wants to resume where he can't do it manually. very few and rare.
